Let our prayers for Nigeria count.

Join us in a 15-minute CASNFCI Network of prayer on Friday 24^th February wherever you are as the Holy Spirit leads with the following prayer points through the 24hrs of the day as we come forth to vote our leaders into office.  

Prayer Points:

• Beseech the Lord to show us mercy and help us as a Nation in such a time of distress and suffering. “Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16.

• Pray for protection from any attacks from enemies that would attempt to prevent the election. Ask the Lord for a strong hedge of protection around the nation itself during this time of decision. "May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you" Ps. 20:1.

• Pray for wisdom for voters and a safe and fair election. "My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble" Prov. 3:21–23.

• Ask the Lord to remove those who might try to unjustly and illegally change the outcome of the voting. "I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place" Isa. 28:17.

•  Pray and ask God to give us leaders that will be elected to serve with humility, integrity, and a heart for the people of Nigeria for God’s glory. “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”  1 Timothy 2:1-4.
